What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  Toll Loop 130 in Williamson County, TX on April 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:38 a.m. According to authorities, a commercial truck operated by a 60-year-old Manor man was headed southbound on the toll road behind a Dodge Journey operated by 36-year-old Kaylee Nicole Conn. A tractor-trailer was headed southbound in an inside lane while the Journey traveled behind a Toyota 4Runner operated by 45-year-old Nancy Robin Franz Chavarria. Police say the commercial track failed to control its speed as traffic slowed and side swiped the tractor-trailer. before also hitting the Dodge Horney. It then moved into an inside lane and hit the 4Runner, pushing it into a concrete barrier. Chavarria suffered minor injuries while Conn was evaluated for possible injuries. The truck drivers were not injured. Records indicate the Manor man was charged with Failure to Control Speed and Change Lanes When Unsafe.
