Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at Spur 327 and Milwaukee Ave in Lubbock, TX on March 27th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:52 p.m. Authorities say a Jeep Patriot was southbound on Milwaukee Ave before allegedly running a red light at the intersection with Spur 327. There, reports say the vehicle struck an eastbound Hyundai Elantra, operated by 20-year-old Blake Garza. The impact was severe enough that both Garza and 18-year-old passenger, Naomi Harry, were killed. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, had possible injuries.
