What Happened

Authorities in Dallas, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on January 4, 2024, at around 9:27 p.m. on Interstate 30. Officials are saying a Infiniti JX35, traveling east, failed to maintain its lane in a construction zone and struck a median barrier before colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado. The 34-year-old driver of the Infiniti, identified as Natalie Anderson, sustained fatal injuries.  The 19-year-old driver of the Silverado, who was not publicly identified, was uninjured. Driver inattention, speeding, and intoxication were identified as contributing factors. Additional information was not available.
