What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 87 in Moore County, TX on June 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:52 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is said to have been parked at a weight station as a Chevrolet Equinox approached northeast. Reports allege that, possibly due to driver fatigue, the Chevrolet entered into the weight station and collision a trio of dumpsters and the rear of the tractor-tailer. The impact is said to have caused the Chevrolet to cath fire, seriously injuring 58-year-old driver, Nathaniel Harden. Reports say Harden was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional information was not available.
