Officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-635 in Garland, TX on September 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4;16 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia K5 headed southbound on I-635 before losing control for unclear reasons. It then hit a barrier wall before it came to rest. Reports say it was next struck by an approaching Nissan Titan, which stuck a GMC Terrain. Reports indicate the driver of the GMC, identified as 52-year-old Nava Sagrario, had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. A passenger in the Nissan, identified as 47-year-old Juana Vasquezdeamaya, allegedly had possible, unconfirmed injuries. Officials say the driver of the Kia, identified as 24-year-old Tyler Pendola, was seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
