What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 30 in Grimes County, TX on August 19th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 headed eastbound on State Hwy 30 before leaving the roadway while attempting to perform a u-turn. Reports claim the vehicle turned into the path of an approaching Chevrolet Silverado. The two vehicles collided, the impact leaving 38-year-old Chevrolet operator, Nicolas Zuniga, seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured.
