What Happened

El Paso police have information on a crash that killed three people at Loop 375 in El Paso, TX on October 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened when a Nissan Armada operated by 21-year-old Carlos Alejandro Martinez allegedly ran a red light at the intersection with Zaragoza. The vehicle collided with a Mazda Tribute, causing the Tribute to catch fire, trapping its occupants inside. Two of the occupants were identified as Nicole "Nikki" Delgadillo and Marylin Rojas. A third occupant was an 8-year-old child. Police say all three suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Two passengers in the Nissan, identified as 24-year-old Alex Bolado and 21-year-old Isaih Dominguez, were hospitalized with serious injuries. Sources say Martinez faces three counts of murder and one count of evading arrest. Additional information was not available.
