Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at State Hwy 347 and 3rd Ave in Nederland, TX on September 26th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. 32-year-old Nicole Robinson was walking in the shoulder when she was struck by a pickup truck operated by 38-year-old Zachary Highlander. Police say the truck left the scene after the collision and Robinson suffered fatal injuries. Highlander was later located and charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
