What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Loop 12 and Carbondale St in Dallas, TX on March 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:20 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer operated by a 41-year-old Saginaw man was headed eastbound on Loop 12 when it it performed a u-turn from a left turn only lane. In the process, the truck failed to yield to a Ford Explorer operated by 40-year-old Nikki Nicole Giddings, causing the vehicles to collide. Giddings suffered minor injuries while the Saginaw man was uninjured.
