What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Spur 366 in Dallas, TX on July 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:52 a.m. Investigators say a Toyota Rav-4 operated by 23-year-old Niraj Patel was headed westbound on Spur 366 when it collided head-on with a Lexus IS that was allegedly traveling in the wrong direction. The impact left two passengers in the Toyota, age 37 and a 1-year-old, suffered serious injuries. The driver of the Lexus, identified as 26-year-old Kaitlyn Curtis, as well as Patel, both suffered less serious injuries. Reports indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against Curtis.
