Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 191 in Odessa, TX on December 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:44 a.m. A Ford Edge operated by 39-year-old Jonathan Bascon is said to have been traveling at a high rate of speed before veering from the road and crashing into a traffic light. A passenger, 36-year-old Nordita Bascon, suffered serious injuries. The driver also suffered serious injuries and records indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was issued.
