Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at US 277 in Tom Green County, TX on February 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:17 p.m. Authorities are saying a Ford Fusion was northbound in southbound lanes on US 277 before colliding head-on with a southbound Ford Edge. Repros say the driver of the Edge, identified as 20-year-old Nuvea Sanchez, had injuries considered to be non-life-threatening in nature. A 16-year-old passenger and the driver of the Fusion both had serious injuries, reports say. Sources indicate a Wrong Side Not Passing charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the Fusion.
