Area authorities are investigating a crash the injured an officer at Atascocita Rd and Eagle Springs Pkwy in Atascocita, TX on January 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. Reports are saying a patrol unit, operated by Deputy Leon, was at the scene assisting with traffic control as a vehicle operated by a suspected drunk driver approached. Reports say the suspect vehicle struck the patrol unit, the collision leaving Deputy Leon seriously injured.
