Area authorities are charging a driver in connection with a collision that injured an officer at Ennis St in Plainview, TX on May 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. According to investigators, police were called to the scene of a house party that saw multiple teens leave the scene upon arrival. One, identified as 18-year-old Kameron Balderas, is said to have struck an officer with the side mirror of a vehicle while fleeing. The officer was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital. Balderas was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of a public servant and leaving the scene of accident involving injury.
