What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 83 in Carrizo Springs, TX on March 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:26 p.m. According to police, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 47-year-old Olegario Deleon Jr was reportedly traveling being a tractor-trailer as the vehicle approached a double lane. The commercial truck reportedly was slowing to prepare to make a right turn into a parking lot while the Silverado attempted to pass the truck on the right. In the process, the Silverado collided with the truck, causing Deleon minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
