Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed a driver at FM 2962 in Cherokee County, TX on May 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:50 p.m. According to investigators, a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Omar Gallardo Moreno was headed northbound on FM 2962 when it approached a curve at the intersection with County Rd 1214. The vehicle was allegedly traveling too fast for the curve and veered into a ditch before going into a side skid and crashing. Moreno suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
