Lubbock Police are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at 51st St and Aberdeen Ave in Lubbock, TX on May 22nd, 2023. Officials say it happened around 1 a.m. According to investigators, a pedestrian who was not publicly identified, was struck by a vehicle that is alleged to have fled the scene. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries they are expected to recover from. Authorities allege the driver of the vehicle was 24-year-old Tyler Larrentree, who they say later returned to the scene.
