What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at FM 969 in Travis County, TX on June 22nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Suburban headed eastbound is alleged to have veered into w westbound lane after attempting to avoid colliding with another vehicle. Once there, reports say the vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Silverado. Reports indicate the driver of the Suburban, who was not publicly identified, was fatally injured. A 25-year-old passenger in the Silverado was seriously injured while the driver had less serious injuries. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
