What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a person at Hwy 183 in Travis County, TX on February 15th, 2022. Police say the incident involved a Volkswagen passenger vehicle being rear ended by a Ford pickup truck around 6:20 a.m. The impact sent the Volkswagen into the path of a Kia and those two also collided. The Ford was sent careening into a nearby church. The driver of the Volkswagen died at the scene while the driver of the Kia was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
