Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-30 in Hunt County, TX on January 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. A Hyundai Accent is said to have collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler for unknown reasons while headed westbound. The impact sent the Hyundai into eastbound traffic where it was hit by a second 18-wheeler. The driver died at the scene while the driver of the second 18-wheeler was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the first truck was not injured.
