Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at North Loop near Kirkpatrick Blvd in Houston, TX on July 17th, 2022. Police are saying a Chevrolet Tahoe was reportedly speeding prior to missing an exit. It veered from the road into an embankment before going airborne and hitting bridge support pillars. The vehicle then landed in the Hunting Bayou below and a passenger in the vehicle died at the scene. A rear seat passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries while the driver suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
