What Happened

Houston Police Department officials are investigating a hit-and-run accident at I-10 in Harris County, TX on August 14th, 2022. They say the 9:15 p.m. crash involved an eastbound passenger vehicle colliding with a pedestrian walking north or southbound in the main lanes of the interstate. The vehicle fled the scene after impact without stopping to render aid and the pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from.
