What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at I-35E and Mockingbird Ln in Dallas, TX on August 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. An unidentified pedestrian was reportedly attempting to cross the freeway when he was struck by a passing 18-wheeler. The pedestrian was then struck by a Toyota Prius directly after and ultimately suffered fatal injuries. Both drivers did stop and remained at the scene and neither received citations.
