Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a pedestrian at Katy Freeway in Katy, TX on July 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:35 a.m. They say a Ford Edge veered from the road under unclear circumstances before colliding with a pedestrian believed to be near a west embankment at Mason Creek Drive. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The driver of the Ford, a 21-year-old woman police suspect was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision, suffered fatal injuries.
