What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at Business 20 in Midland County, TX on March 2nd, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 8:55 p.m. Investigators say a Ford Mustang headed northbound is alleged to have run a stop sign at an intersection before colliding with a Ford Fusion. The impact is said to have pushed the Mustang into eastbound lanes where it collided with a Chevrolet Suburban. Officials say the driver of the Mustang, identified as 22-year-old Pedro Antonio Lopez, Jr, was hospitalized with minor injuries. A passenger, identified as 18-year-old Osmar Josue Guerrero, was hospitalized with injuries he died from the following the day. The Focus operator with hospitalized with minor injuries while a passenger and the driver of the Suburban both had serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
