What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that injured a person at Bandera Rd in San Antonio, TX on October 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. 45-year-old Pablo Martinez was reportedly crossing the road in a darkly lit area that investigators say was outside a crosswalk. He was struck by a passing vehicle in the process and suffered serious injuries. Martinez was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. Police say the driver is not expected to face any charges.
