What Happened

State Police have information on a crash that killed a driver at FM 723 in Ford Bend County, TX on September 27th, 2022. Police say it happened around 2:16 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet C1500 operated by a 56-year-old Rosenberg man was headed southbound behind a Hyundai Elantra operated by 27-year-old Paris Renae Givens. Investigators allege the Chevrolet failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the Hyundai. The impact pushed the Hyundai into the northbound lanes where it was struck on the side by an Acura RDX operated by a 56-year-old Fulshear woman. The collision left Givens with fatal injuries at the scene. The Fulshear woman was evaluated for possible injuries while the Rosenberg man was not injured. Additional information was not available.
