What Happened

San Angelo Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 388 in San Angelo, TX on August 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:40 a.m. A Mitsubishi Outlander operated by 94-year-old Patricio Valdez was headed eastbound on FM 388 when it is said to have disregarded a stop sign and drove into an intersection. It was then struck by a Ford F-250 headed southbound. Valdez suffered fatal injuries while a passenger, 75-year-old Irenia Martinez Valdez, was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver and the passenger of the Ford were not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
