Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at County Rd 3185 in Rusk County, TX on May 20th, 2023. Police say it happened around 12:25 a.m. According to investigators, a Buick LeSabre operated by 36-year-old Patrick Caldwell had been traveling westbound on County Rd 3185 at the time. The vehicle is said to have veered from the road for unclear reasons before crashing into a tree and catching fire. Caldwell suffered fatal injures at the scene.
