Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at 24th St in Austin, TX on July 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:33 p.m. A Lexus SUV operated by 59-year-old Rue Olson Dwyer was headed eastbound when it crossed a double yellow line and crossed into a westbound lane. It then collided head-on with a Toyota Prius operated by 35-year-old Patrick Charles Gallagher. Gallagher suffered serious injuries. Dwyer was not injured and charged with Intoxication Assault.
