What Happened

El Paso Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at N Zaragoza Rd In El Paso, TX on January 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened as Nissan Frontier operated by 59-year-old Hector Munoz was headed southbound Zaragoza. Police say after turning left, the vehicle was struck in the rear by a Hyundai Elantra operated by 22-year-old Patrick Isaac Aguilar. Aguilar's vehicle was then pushed into northbound lanes where it crashed head-on into a GMC Yukon operated by 22-year-old Damian Rincon. Aguilar was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries he later died from. Additional information was not provided.
