What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that killed several people involved at FM 8 in Erath County, TX on July 30th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:43 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Grand Caravan was westbound on FM 8 before allegedly crossing a center line, traveling onto the opposite side of the road. There, reports say the vehicle collided head-on with a Ram 3500, ejecting the driver. Reports indicate the driver of the Ram, identified as 56-year-old Patrick Quinones, was fatally injured. Also killed was his 70-year-old passenger, who was not publicly identified. Reports indicate the driver of the Dodge, identified as 23-year-old Cameron Sanders, was also fatally injured.
