Texas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed a person at State Hwy 176 in Stanton, TX on June 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda motorcycle was reportedly struck in the rear by what is believed to have been a semi-truck that fled the scene. The motorcyclist, identified as 59-year-old Paul Anthony Golibart, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police later arrested 28-year-old Christopher Anthony Carman, on a charge of accident involving personal injury or death. Additional information was not immediately available.
