What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Tower Oaks Blvd in Harris County, TX on September 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:25 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Frontier was stopped at a red light in an eastbound lane of Tower Oaks Blvd as a flatbed truck approached from the southbound Jones Road. As the light for the flatbed truck turned red and the light for the Nissan turned green, the flatbed truck is said to have disregarded the light and collided with the Nissan when it entered into the intersection. The collision caused the driver of the Nissan, identified as Paul Hovorka, to suffer injuries he would later died from while in treatment at an area hospital. Additional details were not available.
