What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 281 in San Antonio, TX on December 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:54 p.m. According to investigators, a Mazda 3 was allegedly traveling northbound at a high rate of speed as a Cadillac SRX and Honda Odyssey were stopped at a red light. Police say the Mazda collided with the rest of the Cadillac before traveling onto an adjacent lance and striking the Honda. Reports indicate the driver of the Honda, identified as 59-year-old Pedro Ramirez III, was seriously injured. The driver of the Cadillac was allegedly uninjured while the driver of the Mazda had injuries considered to be minor in nature. Additional information was not available.
