What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials identified the person killed in a crash at FM 1187 in Tarrant County, TX on January 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:36 p.m. According to investigators, A Toyota Highlander was stopped at the intersection with Country Squire Lane to make a left turn while a westbound Lincoln Navigator approached and collided with the Toyota. The impact caused the vehicle to spin into the eastbound traffic lane and was struck by a motorcycle operated by 61-year-old Philip Carter. Carter suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Lincoln suffered minor injuries while the Toyota driver was not injured.
