What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Military Hwy in Brownsville, TX on January 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a Jeep lost control for unknown reasons and veered into northbound lanes. It then crashed head-on with a box truck before the collision caused a third vehicle to crash into the truck. The driver of the Jeep,  37-year-old woman, Priscilla Patricia Trevino, was hospitalized with injuries that she later died from. Investigators believe road conditions may have played a factor in the crash. The drivers of the other vehicles involved were not injured. Additional information was not available.
