Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Jimmy Phillips Blvd in Brazoria County, TX on September 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:53 a.m. A Ford Mustang operated by a 23-year-old Richwood, TX woman was reportedly was headed eastbound in westbound lanes when it crashed head-on with a vehicle operated by 31-year-old Rabia Ahmad Suleiman. Suleiman was serious injuries in the crash. The Richwood woman was also seriously. Investigators say that alcohol and drugs may have played a factor in the crash as they were allegedly found in the vehicle of the Richwood woman at the scene.
