Authorities are investigating a collision that injured a driver at US 96 in Jasper County, TX on April 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 2500 headed southbound on US 96 is said to have failed to control its speed before colliding with the rear of a southbound Dodge Neon. Authorities say the driver of the Neon, identified as 50-year-old Rafael Aldaco, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and charged with Failure to Control Speed.
