Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a bicyclist at K Ave and Parker Rd in Plano, TX on November 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:11 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 58-year-old Gregory Vaughan was traveling behind a bicyclist headed southbound on K Ave. Police say the Jeep failed to control its sped and collided with the rear of the bicycle, causing the cyclist to be ejected from the bike onto the windshield of the Jeep. The cyclist, identified as 69-year-old Ralph Aubuchon, suffered serious injures in the collision. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against Vaughan.
