Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 290 in Harris County, TX on June 26th, 2021. Police say the crash happened around 3:32 a.m. A Nissan Sentra operated by 25-year-old Randy Smith reportedly veered from its lane and into a retaining wall. It then lost control and overturned, seriously injuring a 21-year-old female passenger. Smith, who suffered minor injuries, was alleged to have exhibited signs of intoxication at the scene.
