What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Market St in Houston, TX on October 28th, 2021. Police are saying the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. Investigators were not able to say for certain what happened in the collision but reportedly believe that a tractor-trailer operated by 52-year-old Victor Delacruz may have veered from its lane and collided with a Dodge Ram. They believe the Ram may have also failed to control its speed. The driver of the Ram, 58-year-old Raul Roberto Gonzalez, suffered serious injuries. Two passengers were evaluated for possible injuries. Delacruz was not injured.
