Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1994 in Fort Bend County, TX on April 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:35 a.m. Reports say a tractor-trailer operated by a 62-year-old male was traveling westbound on FM 1994 when it allegedly suffered mechanical failure. The tires of the tractor reportedly detached and continued forward, striking a Dodge Ram. The impact caused the Dodge to lost control and overturn into a ditch, causing serious injuries to the driver, identified as 48-year-old Ray Lee Peach. The truck driver was not injured.
