Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at County Road 1004 in Somervell, TX on April 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 38-year-old Rayme Hankins was reportedly headed northwest on County Rd 1004 when it lost control at a curve. It then veered from the road and veered into a group of trees. Hankins, who police allege was under the influence of alcohol, suffered serious injuries. Reports indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued.
