Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 190 in San Jacinto County, TX on June 29th, 2021. Police say it happened around 1:20 p.m. A tractor-trailer, Chevrolet C1500 and Nissan Rogue were all headed eastbound when the Rogue began slowing for a turn. The Chevrolet behind it also did the same. The tractor-trailer made a lane change to avoid what the driver said was a mail carrier being close to the road, in order to avoid a collision. The truck then struck the rear of the Chevrolet, pushing it into the Rogue. The driver of the Chevrolet, 56-year-old Raymond Smith, suffered serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the Rogue were evaluated for possible injuries. The truck driver, who was not injured, was cited for Following Too Closely.

If that's not enough information, you might need an Open Records Packet. An ORP is essentially all evidence that the authorities have collected. It usually contains photos, witness statements, measurements, and more and goes way beyond the police report.
