What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a person at Huffmeister Rd in Harris County, TX on September 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:39 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti Q50 operated by Robert Stimpfl was headed westbound on Huffmeister Rd when it allegedly failed to yield drug a left turn and entered into the path of an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado struck the Infiniti as a result, causing the Infiniti to hit a Dodge Ram. A passenger in the Infiniti, identified as 48-year-old Rebecca Jennings, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Stimpfl was suffered serious injuries while the Dodge operator suffered minor injuries. Officers expressed suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
