Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at State Hwy 21 in Hays County, TX on October 23rd, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 5:19 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima operated by a 36-year-old Austin man was headed southbound on TX 21 when it allegedly veered onto an incorrect side of the road, colliding with a motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 51-year-old Rebecca Salas, was killed in the collision. The Nissan is said to have fled the scene after the collision and officers issued an arrest warrant for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
