What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  I-20 in Taylor County, TX on November 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:02 p.m. A Chevrolet Camaro operated by 19-year-old Michael Antonio Rodriguez and Chevrolet Avalanche operated by 54-year-old Regino Lujan Alvarado were headed eastbound on I-20 when both were involved in a collision. Shortly after, the Avalanche was struck by a tractor-trailer operated by a 34-year-old El Monte, CA man. Alvarado suffered serious injuries while neither of the other drivers reported injuries.
