What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash at Sam Houston Pkwy in Harris County, TX on February 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:40 p.m. Investigators say a Ford F-350 operated by an unidentified man was reportedly traveling the wrong direction up the Market St ramp before it collided head-on with a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 28-year-old Reina Valerio. Valerio suffered serious injuries while a passenger, 29-year-old Andy Bravo, suffered minor injuries. An 8-year-old child in the vehicle suffered minor injuries while three other children, ages 4, 6 and 10, were evaluated for possible injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
