Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 244 and Hwy 90 in Grimes County, TX on June 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:44 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck headed northbound on a curve before alleged crossing a center line and colliding with a Hyundai Palisade. Authorities say the driver of the Hyundai, identified as 40-year-old Renika Derry, was fatally injured. A passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with suspected minor injuries.
